SMALL BALSA WOOD TURTLE DECORATION - CARVED BY PERUVIAN AMAZON ARTISAN

This unique fair-trade figure represents an Amazon turtle.  This little balsa wood turtle will add a friendly touch to your bedroom, living room or office. This ornament was carved by hand from balsa wood by an Amazon artisan.   The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru.

One model is natural white balsa with brown figures.  Please remember that each ornament is hand-made and may vary from the photo shown for the model. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and village of the artisan who made it and the plants used to make it.
