Bluebird ceramic bird water whistle from the Peruvian Amazon

This fun ceramic water whistle represents the bluebird a favorite backyard bird found in most of North America. Many bluebird enthusiasts have placed nest boxes to help this once common bird rebuild its numbers.  Blow into this fun ceramic whistle and you get one sound - add some water and blow again to get a fun trill that sounds just like a bird!  .

Each little flute has a hole that can be left uncovered or covered with your finger to vary the pitch of the whistle.  It has one extra loop for a clasp or string to wear your whistle with you anywhere.

Made by local artisans from the city of Iquitos in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.
