TOUCAN BIRD - FAIR-TRADE CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT - WOVEN BY PERUVIAN AMAZON ARTISAN
This unique fair-trade ornament represents the toucan. It will look great hanging on your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror or adding a colorful touch to another part of your home. This ornament was woven with chambira palm fiber by a native Amazon artisan. Each model has a distinct color pattern representing the diversity of these fruit-eating birds.
The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. These toucans were made artisans from the villages of Amazonas and San Francisco on the Maranon River.
Please remember that each ornament was hand-made by different artisans so the design of each craft varies some from the photo shown for each model.
