Palo sangre pendant necklace - made by artisan from the Peruvian Amazon
This simple and elegant necklace has a pendant made from 9 pointed leaf shapes carved from natural deep red palo sangre wood interlaced with black achira seeds. It is strung on a chord of natural off-white chambira palm fiber whose total length can be adjusted from choker length of 14 inches to a hanging necklace with 24 inches of total length. It was made by a skilled artisan from the Iquitos region in the northern Peruvian Amazon.
