Hand made round bottom chambira fiber shoulder bag made by Peruvian Amazon artisan

These shoulder bags are colorful, practical and sturdy.  They were hand-woven by artisan from the Peruvian Amazon village of Puca Urquillo with durable chambira palm fiber. Each bag has a unique combination of colors, knots and macrame weaving.  They are roomy with a tightly crocheted rounded bottom and a clasp on top. These roomy bags will allow you to carry a laptop to a coffee shop, books and whatever to the beach, or bring home goodies from a market.

These bags are 13 to 14 inches across, 11 to 12 inches tall with a circular base that is 10 to 11 inches in diameter.  All are fitted with a comfortably long shoulder strap.

A tag lists the artisan's name and community and the plants they used to make it.  note that each handmade bag may vary from the photo shown.
