FAIR -TRADE CERAMIC AMAZON WILDIFE INCENSE BURNERS - MADE BY PERUVIAN AMAZON ARTISAN
These unique hand-made ceramic incense burners represent diverse wildlife species from the Amazon rainforest. These include the scarlet macaw, blue and gold macaw, jaguar, black jaguar, pink dolphin and a green frog. They were shaped and painted by a father and son team of artisans from the town of Padre Cocha.
Most models are 3.5" tall; the dolphin is an inch taller. All models have a hole in the top of the head or mouth to hold one standard incense stick.
The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and home of the artisan who made it and the plant used to make it.
