These unique fair-trade ornaments represent the green darner dragonfly.  The wings of the larger model are made with fine chambira palm fiber.  The medium size model has wings made with nylon mesh.  Both will look great hanging on your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror or adding a distinctive companion to your favorite hat.

These ornaments are handmade by Peruvian Amazon artisans from natural chambira palm fiber. The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru.

These ornaments were made by artisans from the Ampiyacu River region. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and village of the artisan who made it and the plants used to make it.
