Ceramic ocarinas with birds - made by a Peruvian Amazon artisan
These ocarinas are quality ceramic whistles from the Peruvian Amazon. These designs feature a variety of birds from North America. Carry this flute with you anywhere to add an acoustic flavor of South America to any gathering or create your own tune to meditate sitting by the ocean or the top of a hill. These were made by an expert and creative potter from the village of Padre Cocha.
Each oval-shaped ocarina is about 2.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches long. It comes with six holes on top, two holes on the bottom, and a ceramic loop you could attach a chord to carry your ocarina around your neck. Also see small ocarinas.
Please remember that that hand-painted designs may vary from the photo shown for each model.

Support native artisans & rainforest in the Amazon
Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
