Please join our Amazon roadshow this June at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival to enjoy four days of music and fun. CACE will have a big booth to sell our innovative fair-trade handicrafts made by our partner artisans from Peru and offer visitors a rich interactive educational experience of the Amazon rainforest and its people.

CACE needs a few energetic volunteers to help us set up the booth on Tuesday as well to pack up on Sunday night. We would also like to recruit a few Amazon Ambassadors to help us sell crafts and welcome booth visitors to check out our videos and engage with our Amazon education activities during the festival.

We have one extra free pass per day to the festival that we can share with someone who helps us for an entire day or more. All volunteers who help us for a full day or more will get a 20% discount on merchandise at our booth and a free Amazon Forest Store baseball cap as a gesture of our appreciation.

"Both men and women wore garb made with bleached llanchama tree bark painted with graphic figures from Bora clans.  Several wore headdresses made with the feathers from macaws and parrots.  They discussed the importance of nature and craft-making in their culture and then launched into a lively dance where the men chanted and pounded sticks into the ground to the rhythm of moving around in a circle.  Visitors joined the undulating lines to share the vibrant energy."
