Many thanks to Virginia, Lois, and Brenda for helping me set up our booth at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Thanks to Lois for bringing water, snacks and moist toilettes since taking a shower was hard (other than the kind falling from the sky). Thanks to Brenda, Jackie, Juliana and a bunch of Craft area volunteers who got us packed and ready to go in speedy 5 hours. Sales were kind of slow all weekend but I was blown away watching Jackie interact with visitors to the booth with her infectious enthusiasm that led to a burst of sales in final hours. Made me realize the difference between someone who knows the issues well (me) and someone who can use a little information effectively.
