This unique fair-trade ornament is a fanciful striped owl. Owls typically hunt small birds, mammals and reptiles at night. It will look great hanging on your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror, sitting on your desk or your hat as a constant companion. This ornament was woven with chambira palm fiber by a native Amazon artisan.
The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. These owls were made a native artisan from the village of Puca Urquillo Huitoto on the Ampiyacu River.
